We have built a senior Advisory Board of experienced industry professionals that are aligned with our own favoured sectors and which have worked with us in a number of our investments.

Andreas Pouros

Andreas is co-founder and COO of Greenlight, the largest independent search engine and social media marketing agency in Europe. He has been in this field for over 12 years. From 3 people 10 years ago, Greenlight are now 120-strong and continue to see double digit growth year on year. Their expertise has delivered over £2 billion worth of incremental value to their clients, including the likes of Santander, New Look, Legal & General, Sky, and a further 50 FTSE250 clients. If you’ve ever clicked on a link in Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, or YouTube, then you’ve almost certainly interacted with advertising that Greenlight have designed, negotiated, sold, optimised, or measured. Andreas is also an active seed investor with a portfolio of interests in various sectors - all with a significant online focus.

Anthony Wreford

Anthony Wreford has worked for Omnicom for 22 years, most recently as Deputy Chairman, Omnicom Europe. He was formerly CEO of the marketing services division. He is a member of the British Airways advisory board. In sport, he is Chairman of the Professional Cricketers’ Association, Senior Trustee of MCC and Non-Executive Director of Portas Consulting. He is also an advisor to various private equity firms.

Dr. Fiorangelo Salvatorelli

Dr. Fiorangelo Salvatorelli is a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Worldwide International. Previously he was a Partner and Senior Investment Analyst at Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership. He was responsible for equity research at the firm with a focus on Technology, Industrials, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, and Mineral Resources. Prior to this he worked for eight years as the Senior Global Research Analyst and Director at Newton Investment Management. He also worked at McKinsey & Co for five years in their London, Milan, and Madrid offices.

Gavin Darby

Gavin is the CEO of Premier Foods plc and is a Non-Executive Director of Intertek PLC. He spent 10 years with Vodafone PLC until 2010 which included roles as CEO for Vodafone Affiliates in the USA, Africa, China and India from 2004 to 2008, and CEO/COO of Vodafone UK from 2001 to 2004. Multiple Board responsibilities at Vodafone included Verizon Wireless in the USA, Vodacom and Safaricom in Africa, China Mobile (as alternate), as well as Vodafone Essar, Bharti Airtel and Indus Towers in India. His operational and management experience spans the consumer goods as well as technology sectors, having served fifteen years in senior executive positions at The Coca-Cola Co as well as executive positions at S.C Johnson &Son Ltd (UK) and Spillers Foods. Prior to joining Premier Foods, Gavin served as CEO of Cable & Wireless Worldwide plc, leading a successful turnaround of the business before negotiating its eventual sale to Vodafone plc.

Ian Taylor

Since graduating Ian has been primarily involved in the oil business for the past 30 years. He joined Shell in 1978 and worked in South America and the Far East before moving to Vitol in 1985. Since joining Vitol Ian has set up the global crude oil trading team and was involved in the formation of Vitol's many international operations especially in the energy markets. He was Managing Director of Vitol Asia between 1992 and 1994, based in Singapore. He returned to Europe to take up the post of Chief Executive in 1995 and since then he has been actively involved in expanding Vitol's businesses on a global basis including adding upstream and downstream petroleum assets to their portfolio.

James Bilefield

James is a serial digital entrepreneur who scaled Skype's global business as part of its founding management team, managed the digital transformation of media group Condé Nast across 27 countries and led a major investment in fashion e-commerce leader Farfetch. He also co-founded UpMyStreet, one of the UK's first digital businesses, and ran OpenX, a pre-IPO company delivering billions of digital ads daily. He currently combines a portfolio of Chair and Board Director positions (at Teach First, Cambridge Satchel Company and the Science Museum Group) with advisory roles at McKinsey & Company, Advent International and the UK Government, whilst also finding time to be an active technology investor and mentor (Kano, Roli, Polar, Entrepreneur First).

Patrick Gale

Patrick has had an extensive career in financial software and in retail financial services.

After a long career in Asia and UK with Misys PLC in financial software, Patrick became the CEO of Sesame, the UK’s largest IFA service company until end 2007. During his 7 years with Sesame Patrick formed close relationships in the Life and Pension’s industry, HMR&C and FSA. Patrick led an MBO and a subsequent sale of Sesame to Friends Life. Patrick was an active on a number of industry bodies such as the CII Life and Pensions Faculty and HMR&C Committees.

Since January 2007 Patrick has built a portfolio career and holds Non Executive Director roles at JLT Employee Benefits, Thistle Insurance, Castle Trust Group and Aztec Group and RAC. Patrick is also a Senior Adviser to the Boston Consulting Group.

Patrick was Chairman of Defaqto which was a FPE investment that was sold to Synova in 2015.

Patrick is married to Viki with 2 children and is an actively involved in Christian youth work.
