FPE has a unique network designed to give its portfolio of small and medium sized businesses an unfair competitive advantage. This network spans our investors, who include leading global institutional investors, but also >100 business leaders (Founders and CEOs). In addition, on behalf of our companies, we leverage our relationship with EMEA’s largest family office (Stonehage Fleming) to engage with their 250 HNW families and their global business interests.

Collaboration

We harness the benefit of focusing exclusively in one area of the UK economy, the technology sector, and in companies who are facing common challenges. To that end, in conjunction with the Cambridge University’s world renowned Judge Business School, we have designed a programme which all members of the executive teams of our portfolio companies attend to share best practise and experiences. We supplement this by creating networks for the functional leaders of our companies – within areas such as software engineering, product and go-to-market – so that executives can develop their careers and learn from peers’ shared experiences.

Insight

We provide genuine insight to our companies, via our own internal resources, and a team of tried and tested specialist external consultants, on areas of their business, which can drive the greatest value. These include talent acquisition and people development, pricing and value capture, and origination and execution of bolt-on acquisitive growth.
