David Barbour

I am joint Managing Partner and co-founder of FPE. I qualified as a lawyer (Ashurst) and worked in the media, telecoms and corporate advisory worlds before moving into private equity investing. My advisory career was entirely at the Fleming investment bank and successor firms, where my experience helping small technology and telecoms firms to raise equity built on my interest in growth company financing.

I focus on the telecoms and financial services sectors. I also lead the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activities, including the close of FPE Fund II at £101m.

When not working I can be found walking dogs in London or Dorset, preferably with at least one of my children in tow.
