LONDON: FPE Capital has completed its second annual bespoke Innovation & Growth Programme for its portfolio company executives, held at Cambridge Judge Business School. All nine of FPE Capital’s current portfolio companies attended the two-day programme, which is a unique one aimed at assisting high growth UK companies to manage and increase their growth.

The programme, developed by FPE Capital in conjunction with Cambridge Judge Business School, brought together over 30 senior executives and Chairmen to discuss their business’s common challenges in managing growth. Speakers included:

FPE Capital is a UK growth investor targeting high growth businesses with turnover of £10-50m. Its current portfolio has seen revenue growth of 112% since investment and employee growth of 100%.

Rob Caul, CEO of FPE Capital portfolio company Kallidus, commented, “I found the level of debate and interaction excellent and the programme well-tailored to the challenges of growing our business, along with other FPE portfolio companies facing similar challenges”.

David Barbour, Managing Partner of FPE Capital, commented: “We are delighted that our second growth programme at Cambridge Judge Business School was so well supported and appreciated by our portfolio companies. This is now an annual event for us, demonstrating that the portfolio support seen in larger private equity firms is also applicable to the UK lower middle market. We are already planning next year’s programme and working with our portfolio to ensure the source is relevant to the needs of high growth businesses.”
