Dan Walker

I am a Partner and co-founder of FPE. I started my career in leveraged finance (Singer & Friedlander and RBS) providing acquisition funding to the UK mid-market private equity community. Over my career as a lending banker I led a large number of transactions across a broad range of B2B sectors.

My desire to be part of the team delivering the upside, rather than just worrying about the downside, led me to jump the fence into private equity. On teaming up with Henry Sallitt and David Barbour at FPE in 2008, that interest in funding and growing B2B technology companies continued and I am involved in all aspects of FPE’s activities, including the origination and completion of new investments and portfolio management.

Outside FPE, when not on family duty, I can be found watching or playing sports of all kinds, but my passions are golf, cricket and watching (winning) Welsh rugby.
