Daniel Richardson

I’m CTO in Residence at FPE, bringing over 25 years of technology leadership experience across software, data and SaaS businesses. Throughout my career, I have held multiple board-level CTO roles in private equity-backed companies, driving ARR growth and consistently outperforming Rule of 40 benchmarks through strategic technology modernisation.

At FPE, I work closely with portfolio companies and high-growth organisations throughout the business lifecycle - from technology due diligence and value creation planning to exit readiness and post-acquisition integration. My focus is on enabling scalable growth, improving technical resilience and aligning technology strategy with commercial objectives.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about property renovation, having restored several older homes to their original character. I’m also a keen scuba diver and skier, trying to fit in both whenever I can.
