FPE Capital complete the Three Peak Challenge

FPE News

4th July 2018

On 21 June 2018, the FPE Capital team climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, Wales and England, walking 23 miles with a total ascent of 3,064 metres in the process. Malcolm MacDougall (Partner- Charles Russell Speechlys) and Mike Aspinall (CFO- Questionmark) joined the FPE team to undertake the challenge.

FPE Capital raised over £9,500 for three UK children’s charities which FPE has a close connection to: Kith and Kids, which supports people with disabilities or autism, and their families; Coram, which supports vulnerable young people and their families; and Shooting Star Chase, a children’s hospice, which provides care and support to families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement.

Dan Walker, who completed the Three Peaks Challenge in 2010, when fundraising for Shooting Star Chase in the name of his son’s charitable fund, the Theo Walker Fund, commented: “Shooting Stars Chase provided incredible care for my son from the time we left hospital to the end of his life. I am excited to have another go at the Three Peaks to support them and our other chosen charities. The work they do is vital to so many families and children.”

The FPE Capital team would like to thank everyone that donated.
