On the 19th July 2023, the FPE Capital team took part in a two-day 105 miles charity cycle. The cycle, which was completely self-guided and self-sufficient, saw the team ride over 100 miles, climbing nearly 2,000 metres from Carmarthen in Wales, through Brecon and finally ending in Bristol in aid of of Alzheimer's Research UK, the UK's leading Alzheimer's research charity aiming to find a cure for dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK was chosen because of the very real experiences shared by some members of the FPE team. Alzheimer's Research UK exists for a cure for this devastating condition that 1 in 2 of us will be directly or indirectly affected by. Their mission is to accelerate progress towards a cure, and with our support and fundraising, we can help them change lives.
Donning their new FPE ‘branded’ lycra, the team conquered the mighty Welsh hills, fuelled by great weather (at times!), and celebrated their achievements with a well-deserved drink.
