FPE held its 9th annual FPE Growth Conference bringing together CEOs, Chairs, and senior leaders from across our portfolio for two days of shared experience, practical insight, and space to reflect.
This year’s theme - “How to Deliver Strategic Growth” - explored the real-world challenges of scaling in today’s environment, focusing on three core areas:
◾ Growth - and the challenge of finding growth
◾ Culture - getting the culture right to grow and innovate
◾ Organising to deliver growth
Jessica Spungin, Adjunct Professor of Strategy at London Business School, brought energy, clarity and real presence to the room - helping to shape both the tone and pace of the two days. Her sessions combined practical frameworks with sharp insight and engaging anecdotes, sparking exactly the kind of thoughtful discussion that matters at this stage of growth.
Philip Morgan, former CEO of Pirum and now a Chair, Adviser and NED within SaaS businesses, shared his experience leading a software platform through scale, offering honest, grounded reflections on leadership focus, mindset and navigating complexity.
Dr Glenn Timms, experienced Chair and former CEO, brought a dual perspective on what effective CEO leadership looks like - and how a strong Chair can support, challenge, and help unlock a CEO’s potential while bridging the gap between CEO and investor.
