We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ben Cole to Partner, recognising his contribution to FPE and his broader leadership across the firm.
Ben joined FPE in 2019 and has played a central role in building our origination capability. Today, around half of FPE’s deal flow is sourced directly, reflecting our approach to developing relationships with founders, management teams and advisers. Ben has personally originated FPE platform investments including NoBlue2 and Point74, as well as numerous bolt-on acquisitions across the portfolio.
Alongside origination, Ben leads FPE’s marketing and portfolio talent activities. He has helped build our profile across the software and data community and works with portfolio founders and boards on executive hiring, board composition and leadership development.
Ben’s promotion follows Chris Kay’s appointment to Partner in 2024. As FPE approaches its tenth anniversary, both promotions reflect how the firm and its Partnership have developed, alongside our longstanding commitment to growing senior talent from within.
