FPE is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Kay to Partner.
Chris joined FPE in 2017 from PWC, where he was a member of the firm’s TMT Corporate Finance Advisory team. At PWC, Chris completed periods in their financial due diligence and lead advisory technology practices, including advising FPE on its sale of Ticketscript to Eventbrite in early 2017.
The promotion of Chris and entry into the partnership demonstrates FPE’s commitment to the long-term development of the firm.
Chris has been an integral part of the FPE investment team, being a strong originator of investment opportunities and working most notably on the investments in TNP (sold to Node4 at 5.6x MOC), MaxContact and Codestone in FPE Fund II, and 15Gifts and NoBlue2 in FPE Fund III. Chris holds responsibility for Intragen from Fund II and leads FPE’s Value Creation strategy.

This promotion marks a further step in the development of the FPE investment team as it continues its strong sector focus on the software and services sector, following FPE’s milestone achievement which saw the successful closure of our third £185m fund (Fund III) and the initiation of five new investments focused solely on the software sector.
